Diagnosis
Diagnosis includes recording your current dental status, creating a three-dimensional Xray image and determining your vitamin D3 level. If necessary, immunological and intolerance tests can also be carried out.
Treatment
We start with the removal of metals. Amalgam, metal crowns and metal bridges are exchanged for biocompatible ceramics. If necessary, existing teeth with root canal treatments are replaced with ceramic implants.
Follow-up treatment
The vitamin D3 level is determined regularly every four months and adjusted to the optimum level if necessary. This is followed by inclusion in an individual prophylaxis program for long-term health maintenance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
There are two main reasons for this. First, ceramic implants do not cause allergic reactions or intolerances compared to titanium implants. Second, ceramic implants have a significant aesthetic advantage. The white color of the implants prevents that ugly metal edges can be seen, especially in the front teeth area.
We place great value on scientific basis and long-term experience in all our materials and treatment methods. We use ceramic implants from the Swiss company SDS. These implants are proven in scientifically recognized long-term studies. The results in terms of durability and healing have no disadvantages compared to titanium implants.
None of the metals that we often use in dentistry, such as gold, nickel, palladium, silver or titanium, have an original function in humans. In the mouth, metals even have a toxic (poisonous) effect through chemical and physical reactions. Even in the smallest doses, they can trigger allergies and intolerances and permanently weaken our immune system.
First of all, you have to abandon the assumption that teeth are just mechanical grinding instruments. Teeth are alive, they are even small organs, they have their own blood and nerve supply and are connected to our lymphatic system (our detoxification). If bacteria penetrate the nervous system (a complicated system of small canals) for example through caries, the dentist tries to clean this system. The aim of this root canal treatment is to remove all bacteria from the canals. Microscopically the nerve canal system consists of main canals and another 1000 tiny side canals. It is therefore impossible to clean all the tiny canals, so your immune system is constantly busy fighting the remaining bacteria. These can produce endotoxins (poisons) such as thioethers or mercaptans (extremely powerful endotoxins), which lead to a slight but constant poisoning of your body.
By using the latest treatment methods, such as the CEREC system, crowns, bridges and inlays can be made from all-ceramic in just one session. This means that our patients receive their finished work on the same day. No annoying temporary dentures and no second appointment - and it's all without the need for an impression.
Many studies demonstrate the importance of vitamin D3 in terms of bone formation, on which the healing of implants depends. 1,25-(OH)2-vitamin D3 (calcitriol) is the most important hormone involved in bone formation and at the same time reduces the tendency to inflammation. A lack of vitamin D3 therefore inhibits the healing of implants and leads to a deterioration of the gum situation (periodontitis).
In recent studies by Ganati et al., the optimal D3 level is between 40-80ng/ml.
